About Us
The most important team members are our horses.
Equine Insight was established in 2010 with a focus on creating effective, challenging, engaging and transformative experiential learning opportunities for individuals, groups, and families. We believe that every individual is of intrinsic worth and should be encouraged to discover who they really are.
In early 2010 Helen began to develop a keen interest in finding ways to support youth at risk, marriages, and individuals that are struggling with life and relationships. After much research into possible programs, she was inspired when she discovered the EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) model and how it could help change the lives of people with a diverse range of struggles. The method has been proven to assist those suffering from addictions, depression, and trauma, as well as improving relationships in families, groups and organisational teams.
Equine Insight is also not for profit and a registered charity. We seek to enhance the social and emotional wellbeing of young people through some of our supported programs.
We are located in the foothills of the Macedon Ranges, North of Melbourne Victoria, Australia.

One of the strengths of Equine Insight Inc. is our Board, which combines considerable experience in areas such as clinical psychology, executive consulting and leadership development, and corporate risk management, with decades of experience with horses.

The Team
Equine Insight works with a number of equine specialists and professional counsellors from surrounding areas, but the most important members of the team are the horses who assist in developing a deeper and richer understanding. We can work with one or more horses, depending on the nature of the learning, the desired outcomes, and whether the need is personal or relational.
School counsellors or local psychologists are encouraged to access Equine Insight's programs as a preventative measure for 'At Risk' students.
